The Registered Nurse (RN) works under the direction of the Director of Clinical Operations and is responsible for managing the medical and non-medical services provided by or arranged for by BrightStar Care. The LPN is responsible for working with other medical disciplines (PT, OT, PT, etc.) to ensure coordinated services and that all of the client's needs are identified through the assessment process and addressed through the implementation of the Plan of Correction and re-evaluation and supervisory process.
A Registered Nurse (RN) is a person licensed to practice professional nursing by the State Board of Nursing and will provide services in accordance with the Nursing Standards of Practice and must be registered by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA). The RN is responsible for providing services as stated in the Physician ordered Plan of Care.

Requirements
- Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being provided
- Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in a home health agency, primary care clinic or health facility, preferred.
- Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
