The Human Resources Specialist will provide support for Human Resources function at the direction of the Government.

SUMMARY
The Human Resources Specialist will provide support for Human Resources function at the direction of the Government.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:
- Aiding the Government in submitting request for personnel actions (RPA), up to 50 requests annually and provide weekly status of all RPA submission
- Preparing hiring action documentations for review and approval by the Government
- Completing monthly reviews of position control roster including coordinating with civilian personnel office (CPO) points of contact for requirements updates and sending the PRCs to all liaisons monthly
- Tracking metrics for time to complete RPAs through supporting Civilian Personnel Offices and through completion at Air Force Personnel Center
- Assisting the Government in submitting classification actions in MyPers system
- Assisting the Government in developing innovative solutions to identified process and work limitations
- Aiding the Government in collecting and analyzing pertinent organizational workload data and information to quantify and justify resource requirement
- Helping the Government develops statistical and narrative data to justify any changes and recommendations for personnel
- Supporting the Government with reviews of applicability and completeness of Air Force/Space Force manpower standards
- Reviewing and validating inputs involving complex work processes or broad application to manpower requirements packages, manpower estimate reports, and support agreements
- Supporting reviews and validates inputs up 10 times annually in accordance with AFI 38-101 Manpower and Organization
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY
This position has no supervisory and/or managerial authority
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- 5-7 Years' Experience in a Human Resources Support role
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Candidates must be US Citizens
- Candidates must hold an active SECRET clearance
- Candidates will be subject to a US Federal Government background investigation and must favorably pass a drug screen
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and judgment skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Workspace will be in a US Government Facility with controlled access and/or military installation
TRAVEL
- There is 0 - 10% travel associated with this requisition
