FACILITIES ASSISTANT/DAY PORTER (CONTRACT/ONSITE)

POSITION SUMMARY
Our Facilities Technician/ Day Porters are important and valued members of the Partner Therapeutics team. They are responsible for completing assigned facilities work orders and are also responsible for keeping our general office, break, and restroom areas clean and stocked with supplies over the course of the day.
The Facilities Technician/ Day Porters Shift: Monday through Friday - 7:00 am - 3:30pm/4:00pm
- Compensation: $41,600 - $52,000 (DOE) + intermittent overtime
- Sick pay (per Washington State laws) and up to 14 paid holidays over the course of a year included

The Engineering Services/Facilities department is responsible for providing maintenance and support services for the facility to include a number of services at the Northpointe facility. Additionally, our team supports current projects, daily operations, and site goal objectives, and ensures compliance with regulatory, corporate and site requirements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilities work orders consisting of planned and unplanned work:
- Lighting
- Conference room/ Event setup, and employee moves
- Vendor oversight (landscaper, electrician, breakroom supplies, uniforms)
- Seasonal (ice/snow)
- Additional tasks as needed
Day Porter assignments consist of routine and triage tasks:
- Ensures assigned cleaning is done daily
- Responsible for reporting unsafe conditions or facilities repairs to Supervisor
- Responsible for ensuring stock of cleaning supplies are sufficient and communicating restocking when needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Required:
- Able to perform physical work including sweeping, mopping, surface cleaning and trash removal in warehouse, administrative and common spaces
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Good English reading and writing skills: Proven ability to read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Able to work on knees, ladder, and with hand/power tools with proper training/qualification
Preferred:
- Experience working independently with little to no supervision
- Able to lift 30# and work with gowning in a clean room environment.
- Experience working in a cGMP Biotech/Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred but not required
- Computer experience including basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Required:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 1+ years of experience working as a Facilities Technician and/or Day Porter require
Preferred:
- 2 + years in a facilities role or less than 1 year experience accompanied by a degree/certificate in specific trade program 1+ years of experience working as both a Facilities Technician and Day Porter
- 1+ years of experience working in or around a GMP manufacturing facility
- Proficient in the operation of:
- Floor buffers
- Carpet/Floor cleaning machines
