Job Summary: The Facilities Assistant maintains the cleanliness of the premises daily for all areas of the facility, this includes but is not limited to all breakrooms, restrooms, front offices and the property. This position will also serve as a runner when needed for supplies and/or part pick up and drop off. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to upholding a safe, clean and inviting environment for all workers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Clean all common areas, restrooms, and front offices, daily

• Light Maintenance related tasks
• Emptying all garbage and recycling receptacles
• Cleaning break room
• Floors: vacuuming or mopping
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
• Other areas as directed

* Attend to the grounds, maintaining a clean, well-kept appearance to entryways and outdoor areas

* Perform monthly audits of safety supplies and equipment (first aid supplies/fire extinguishers/etc.)

* Take inventory of supplies and goods, delivering reorder requests to proper personnel

* Pick up/drop off part orders at various local locations using company supplied vehicle

* Other duties as instructed

Education:

* High school diploma or GED required

Experience:

* Previous janitorial experience preferred but not required

* Clean driving record

* Attention to detail

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds

* Walking and standing for prolonged periods of time

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
