We are currently seeking a Billing Specialist to join our dedicated, amazing and tenured team. This position provides support to 5 Wisconsin facility locations' offices by performing some basic accounting and operational support duties. Nursing home business office experience preferred. Partial remote work possible. Some travel may be required.
The primary responsibilities of the Billing Specialist obtains and processes financial data for use in maintaining accounts receivable records. The successful candidate will achieve this by performing the following essential duties and tasks:
- Compile and sort documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
- Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts.
- Produce vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records.
- Perform collection duties as needed. Process incoming payments and reconcile statements. Coordinate and compile payroll-based journal files. Other duties may be assigned.
