Job description

Job Summary

This position is responsible for moderately complex clerical, administrative, and customer service work within Facilities. Work assignments are dictated by workload and can vary from day to day.
The position functions as the timekeeper for the organization, is responsible for delivering customer service, handling assigned support tasks within the Work Control Center and the Key and Lock office.
The work of this position is subject to periodic changes in operating procedures and requires adaptability.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proficiency in common software, such as: SharePoint, SAP, Zoom, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams, as well as the ability to learn new technologies
  • Must have experience working in diverse work environments
  • Must have exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be highly organized, reliable, efficient, and able to exercise initiative
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize multiple projects
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records
  • Cultural competency as it relates to working with communities of color; LGBTQ+; and other marginalized communities
  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in a secretarial setting with an emphasis on providing customer service.
  • Minimum of one year experience performing office clerical functions such as filing, photocopying, and receptionist duties.
  • One year of experience performing data entry tasks and/or performing electronic record keeping.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior timekeeping experience.
  • Prior experience working in WebTMA.
  • 2 years of experience providing administrative support to a large organization.
  • 1 or more years prior work experience in a Facilities, construction, or educational environment.
  • 2 or more years work experience as a customer service representative.
  • Continuing education/professional development within the last 5 years
