Group Facilitator
Duties:
- Conduct group therapy sessions to address various mental health issues
- Facilitate discussions and activities to promote emotional well-being and personal growth
- Provide guidance and support to group members in a safe and confidential environment
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as dance therapy, to engage participants
- Assist individuals in developing coping skills and strategies for managing stress and trauma
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress
Skills:
- Gender issues counseling: Ability to address and support individuals with gender-related concerns
- PTSD Care: Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and techniques for working with individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder
- Dance therapy: Experience or training in utilizing movement and dance as a therapeutic tool
- Inhale: Familiarity with breathing exercises and techniques for relaxation and stress reduction
- Direct support: Ability to provide direct support to individuals with mental health challenges in a compassionate and empathetic manner
- Psychotherapy: Knowledge of various psychotherapeutic approaches and techniques for facilitating healing and personal growth
- Crisis management: Ability to effectively manage crisis situations, including deescalation techniques and safety protocols
- Clinical counseling: Proficiency in providing clinical counseling services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Special education: Understanding of special education principles and strategies for supporting individuals with diverse learning needs
- ICD-10: Familiarity with the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) system for mental health diagnoses
