Your responsibilities will include managing processes and projects for the External Communications team related to industry conference participation and media relations. You’ll coordinate with a wide range of internal groups and external parties to advance initiatives that promote and protect the firm’s brand and reputation externally. This includes engaging with conference organizers on programming, developing materials for external speaking or press opportunities, and supporting firmwide media monitoring. You’ll also focus on driving improvements to the team’s infrastructure and strategy.
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, a record of academic and professional achievement, and one to three years of relevant experience in communications and/or operations roles. Experience working at a PR agency and/or in the financial industry is a plus but not required.
- Keen process orientation, proven attention to detail, excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities, and impressive written and verbal communication skills are required.
- The ability to manage multiple projects at once, work collaboratively with teammates, and coordinate effectively with colleagues and departments around the firm is essential.
- Excellent organizational and process management skills are crucial.
- An ambitious, customer service-minded person who thrives in a rigorous and collaborative environment, and who enjoys improving processes and propelling projects forward, will be successful in this role.
- The expected annual base salary for this position is $125,000 to $150,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401k contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
