Position Overview:
American Elite Global is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our team on a commission-based arrangement. The COO will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Foundation, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with our mission and goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for making a difference in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction to all operational aspects of the Company.
Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop and implement organizational strategies, policies, and procedures.
Oversee the management of financial resources, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
Ensure effective human resource management, including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.
Optimize operational processes and workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of programs and initiatives, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to support the Company's mission and objectives.
Lead and inspire a diverse team of staff and volunteers, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Stay informed about trends and developments in the non-profit sector, and adapt strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, non-profit management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
Proven track record of effectively managing operations and driving organizational growth and sustainability.
Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and analytically.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
