The Chief Operations Officer (COO) will oversee scaling the business by managing the day-to-day and long term operational activities of Oneg, an emerging Jewish lifestyle brand. The COO will also serve as the strategic thought-partner to the Founder to help ensure that the artistic vision of the brand and its impact mission is realized with great precision and care.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all core operational functions necessary to scale a rapidly growing start-up sustainably, timely and profitably. Operations - Financial Management and Human Resources. Product - Sourcing, Merchandising, Fulfillment and Inventory Management Sales & Marketing - 2.0 launch plans and all related activities.
- Set the 1-5 year strategic direction and goals with the founder.
- Responsible for the company’s financial growth plans including budgets, forecasting and revenue models.
- Develop a stellar team. Set clear goals and direction, ensure timely KPI delivery and manage the team to excellence.
- Oversee a performance sales and marketing team, ensuring timely execution of customer acquisition marketing strategies, revenue growth and brand awareness.
- Support the founder in raising outside investments.
- Build on and optimize the inventory and fulfillment processes.
- Oversee the identification and management of key commercial partners.
- Create a streamlined techstack that is well-positioned to facilitate online sales.
- Support the founder in raising outside investments.
- Identify and oversee management of a CRM.
You are:
- Analytical, with stellar operational skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Proven in the areas of prioritization, multitasking and accountability.
- A powerhouse working with budgets and data; sets financial strategic goals and manages the team and business to meet on-time and within budget.
- Exceptional with organizational and problem solving skills.
- Proactive by nature and enjoys operationalizing big visions.
- Skilled at managing a team and works collaboratively with team members, consultants, partners, and vendors.
- Able to ensure excellent productivity on complex projects
- An overachiever who likes to exceed expectations and has fun in the process!
Your Background:
- 5-7+ years minimum of experience in business operations with prior experience in an ecommerce environment.
- Graduate school business degree preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree in business, management, operations, or a related field with tested experience.
What We Offer:
- Salary range starts at $135 but +/- directly commensurate with experience.
