Experienced Carpenter

Baxter Construction is looking for Experienced Carpenters with a great attitude to join our highly skilled team. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm with occasional weekends, on call rotation and weekly bonus opportunities

Pay: Starting at $24 and depending on skill/experience with a performance/wage review at 60 days

Job Duties:

• Work with Production Crew to ensure appropriate delivery of the project scope and vision
• Rough framing of floor joists, subfloor, wall framing, rafters, trusses and roof sheathing
• Install windows and doors to code
• Insulation and drywall installation
• Install cabinets, crown molding, door casing, widow surrounds and baseboard
• Install fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures
• Install siding and exterior trim boards
• Evaluate job progress and maintain all notes, photos and updates in DASH

Requirements:

• Ability to read blueprints
• Supply own hand tools
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and L&I guidelines
• Ability to read job scope
• Organizational and leadership skills
• Must have valid driver license with good driving record (insurance requirement)
• Must be able to pass a background check to industry standards
• Must be able to read, write and understand English
• Basic computer knowledge
