The Executive Director of Health Services supports our mission and values by assuming responsibility and accountability for full scope of resident care/services, state and federal survey compliance, positive employee relations, and implementation of Three Pillars' programs and philosophy. Function as the Administrator and oversight of the Masonic Center for Health and Rehab and the Riverside Lodge-our skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care operations.
What will I do in this role?
- Oversight of the administration of clinical services to provide the level of care required by current medical and clinical standards.
- Responsible for coordination of Transitional Services Model across the care levels, including facility-based care level offerings and competency assessment, transfer protocols, and policy and procedures.
- Oversight of the financial management of clinical programs.
- Communicate, execute, and sustain clinical strategic initiatives. Translate strategies into actionable and concrete action plans.
- With clinical team, establish and execute new clinical protocols and practices, assure all standards of care are followed, and assure staff receive and utilize advanced training opportunities.
- Partner with the DON to ensure that key clinical metrics are established, collected, analyzed, and utilized to drive improvement and change in programs.
- Oversight of clinical admission practices and policies.
- Oversight of physician services to ensure appropriate delivery of medical care.
- Develop and spearhead Quality Assurance and Process Improvement (QAPI) initiatives for all care levels to ensure efficient, effective, and safe patient services, as well as being the champion for adherence to clinical evidence-based best practices.
- Assume responsibility in auditing and evaluating clinical practice on an organizational level. Present clinical and quality concerns to the Oversight Committee when appropriate.
- Ensure that successful relationships are maintained with physicians, patients, their families and friends, and other interested groups in the community.
What is required in this position?
- Minimum education, certification and/or licensure: Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (in Wisconsin preferred) with a bachelor's degree in health care administration, business, or a related field.
- Experience: Five (5) years' experience in long term care with a background in management or supervision.
