Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Executive Director of Outpatient Admissions is responsible for transforming, evolving, and standardizing the Outpatient Admissions across the system. The Executive Director of Outpatient Admissions will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of the Outpatient Admissions process, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional patient experiences.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement plans to optimize Outpatient Admissions processes, improve efficiency, and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to streamline Outpatient Admissions workflows, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements related to Outpatient Admissions, maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Outpatient Admissions, analyze data trends, and implement strategies to achieve performance targets and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the patient experience throughout the Outpatient Admissions process, from initial contact to discharge.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, referral sources, insurance providers, and community organizations.
- Oversee the training and development of Outpatient Admissions staff, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to perform their roles effectively.

- Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences (Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, etc.) or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-10 years' experience in behavioral health field.
