Job Summary
The Executive Director, under the general guidance of the North Central Nursing Clinics (NCNC) Board of Directors and in collaboration with Purdue University’s School of Nursing, is responsible for the overall organizational performance of NCNC, a Federally Qualified Heath Center, including strategic, clinical, administrative, finance and governance functions. They are responsible for overseeing the delivery of quality healthcare services provided to NCNC patients in a positive and supportive environment for staff, patients, patient families, students and community stakeholders.
**This position serves the needs of patients at all NCNC clinic locations. While this position is primarily located in Delphi, IN, this position serves the needs of patients and the communities surrounding all clinic locations in Burlington, Delphi, Monon, and Wolcott. Occasional travel to clinics and surrounding communities is required.**
Required:
- Master's degree in Health Administration, Management, Business, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a healthcare field with financial reporting responsibility.
- A Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience may also be considered.
- Excellent verbal/written and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage fast paced environment while dealing with shifting priorities is essential.
- Must be able to develop, interpret and administer policies/procedures and adhere to legislative requirements.
- The ability to understand and evaluate data, leading to informed decision-making and process improvement strategies.
- Grant administration skills to include understanding of grant funding application requirements, fund monitoring to ensure expenditures are for intended purposes and reporting requirements.
- Must have a strong understanding/knowledge of the state and federal regulations, be able to recognize/diagnose areas of improvement that are needed, and demonstrate a strategy towards current/future adherance to compliance.
- Must be able to lead a team of individuals. Must be able to advocate for the needs of employees and of the community.
