As the Director of Technology, you will spearhead our innovation efforts across diverse business problems, uniting our technology, IT/IS, software, ERP, and analytics solutions to drive greater visibility into business decisions and future growth.

You will work closely across all departments, providing support, implementing cutting-edge solutions to enhance data collection, data transparency, analytics, automation, sales, marketing, and manufacturing, supporting the executive team with information to fuel growth. Your strategic vision and technical prowess will be vital to establishing CIE as an industry leader.

Technology: ERP, CRM, Microsoft (Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, SQL), Automation, Machine Data Collection, Manufacturing operations, and more.

Essential Functions:

· In conjunction with Senior Management, define and execute the overall technology strategy in alignment with the company's mission, vision, and goals. Identify emerging trends and technologies, evaluate their potential impact, and recommend their adoption or integration into the company's operations.

· Serve as chief architect for the company ensuring technologies are strategically aligned, protected, secure, and available. Develop and execute a forward-looking, comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's vision, goals, and growth objectives.

· “Hands-on” Leader that provides broad IT support to users and business units.

· Work with leadership and key stakeholders to define key IT operating metrics. Collect, distribute, and optimize the metrics.

· Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, evaluating their products and services to determine and recommend strategic partnerships that align with the company's goals.

· Negotiate partnerships and agreements to leverage external expertise and resources.

· Ensure technology solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and cybersecurity best practices.

· Lead information technology functions, including operations, hardware and software, data infrastructure, analytics, and automation, and coordinate the development and maintenance of various communications networks, both local and remote, to ensure user access to system function and data.

· Develop and execute a strategic technology roadmap in alignment with business goals.

· Provide the strategic leadership, collaborative coordination, and creative problem-solving necessary to manage and advance new and existing opportunities across the business.

· Lead research efforts to explore new technologies and methodologies and develop innovative solutions that enhance our business processes, thereby providing the company's competitive advantage.

· Implement advanced technologies, including automation, artificial intelligence, IIoT, data, ERP, and analytics, and evaluate emerging technologies to optimize systems and processes, reduce costs, and assess their potential applications within our organization.

· Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations, Sales, Grains, and Finance to integrate advanced technologies seamlessly into our business. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver innovative solutions.

· Implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive company data, intellectual property, and manufacturing systems from potential threats.

· Implement rigorous quality assurance processes for all technology solutions and products.

· Oversee testing methodologies to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.

· Provides support that continuously improves Safety, Quality, and Productivity.

· Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment, and a positive work environment.

· Foster a culture of innovation within the organization, encouraging creative thinking and exploration of cutting-edge technologies.

· Responsible for demonstrating a commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies, and procedures.

· Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· 5+ years managing technical systems in a manufacturing environment. 3+ years of proven experience in a senior technology leadership role

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field or a combination of related experience, education and/or training to perform the essential functions of the job sufficiently and successfully.

· Experience with compliance standards, such as CMMC.

· Ability to establish, manage and optimize a best-in-class infosec program and security culture

· Deep understanding of advanced technologies and their applications in manufacturing, including automation, ERP, IIoT, and data analytics.

· Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving innovation and growth. The ability to clearly develop and articulate a vision, business outcomes, end state and operational challenges required to transform the technology investments with the business outcomes.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, partners and vendors.

· Demonstrated success in developing and executing technology strategies that result in business growth and competitive advantage.

· Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies and industry best practices, with the ability to recommend new services and products.

· Ability to identify and analyze business needs, develop solutions, and create strong working relationships with stakeholders.

· Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.

· Ability to evaluate, design, and implement technology procedures and security policies, manage budgets, and resolve system issues.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

· Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the normal workday.

· Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.

· Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
