Overview: The Executive Director - HR Systems is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing the HR systems strategy and roadmap while holding accountability for systems, data compliance, and data quality. This position collaborates closely with HR functional leaders and IT (Mercy Technology Services (MTS) team to ensure the alignment of technology solutions with the overall business goals, objectives, and processes. The incumbent will oversee the HR Systems Excellence function responsible for the design, configuration, development, and implementation aspects of products and systems to meet functional needs, as well as the HR Systems Administration team responsible for operational excellence, data quality, and back-end system processing.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in HR systems management and operations with proven ability to drive the implementation and integration roadmap across products and systems such as Workday and iCIMS7+ years of people management and development experience including managing other managers.
- Proven track record of successfully leading HR system implementations and upgrades.
- Familiarity with IT data quality standards, security protocols, and systems change control processes
- Strong leadership, people management skills, and ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments
- Experience designing and communicating clear processes, with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement; demonstrates an operational mindset, able to identify root causes for process inefficiencies, and build scalable processes appropriate for a dynamic environment
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving orientation and ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective solutions
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Other: Proven ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion
- Experience in leading and managing change in a dynamic organizational environment.
- Experience in healthcare preferred
