Job Description
Responsibilities:
- New Store Development:
- Assist the Chief of Staff and the Chief Development Officer in matters related to new store leasing, design, and construction.
- Coordinate communications with vendors and contractors to facilitate store design, furniture and fixture purchases, signage, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain the New Store Development Checklist and budget for all new stores.
- Facilitate coordination and communication with home office and field teams involved in new store openings.
- Existing Stores:
- Act as the primary contact person with landlords and vendors for repairs and maintenance of equipment and furniture.
- Manage lease administration, including maintaining the lease document database through a 3rd party lease management software system (Leasecake).
- Handle communications with landlords for lease-related matters, draft letters, and send notices of lease renewals.
- Review estoppels and other lease documents.
- Store and Home Office Support:
- Provide support to all stores and the home office as the main liaison with landlords and vendors.
- Travel Coordination:
- Plan travel for field teams, store maintenance, etc.
- Utilize travel systems, and assist in the transition between travel agencies.
- Proven experience in a highly collaborative, team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS One Drive, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Experience with retail leases, lease administration, retail store design, construction, and/or project management is a plus.
- Familiarity with travel coordination systems (experience with the transition between travel agencies is advantageous).
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proactive problem solver with excellent multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
