The Executive Assistant works under the general direction of Diode's COO. You will provide administrative support services and perform a broad range of administrative functions based upon understanding of company policy and the COO's views and philosophy. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Deal with matters of the highest confidential nature that involve strategic operations, legal, or financial issues that require diplomacy and sensitivity.
- Use substantial and regular independent judgment.
- Frequently interact with upper management within and outside your workgroup.
Please note: This role has minimal travel based on COO needs. When not traveling, this role will be hybrid: 2 days per week remote, 3 days per week in-office from our St. Louis, MO office in Creve Couer (same office as the COO).

- Organizes and prioritizes activities for manager(s), including controlling access to and maintaining COO's calendar.
- Screens and responds to telephone and email inquiries, as well as written correspondence, on behalf of COO and acts as delegate in other assigned areas.
- Plans and arranges meetings, travel, and events, and coordinates applying for international travel documents.
- Initiates or composes various documents including correspondence, reports and presentations requiring knowledge of COO's views, philosophy, and some understanding of technical matters.
- Generates simple to complex documents, such as letters, memos, spreadsheets and presentations.
- Performs other general clerical duties as needed.
- Previous experience working in a support role with an executive (ideally 10+ years).
- Demonstrated written communication skills including strong attention to detail.
- Experience understanding and navigating internal personnel dynamics.
- Ability to quickly learn and replicate COO's communication style and thought patterns.
- Demonstrated ability in navigating technical aspects of Diode's business including Sharepoint and other technology, NDAs and legal contracts, etc.
- Advanced spreadsheet and word processing skills needed.
