Form of workWe are currently seeking a RemoteNetwork Operations Technician II for a 12- month contract (High Potential to Convert or Extend)
Targeted Pay: $24-$28/hr W2.
Location: (Remote)
Client: Fortune 200, Telecom
Description:
- Night Shift, hours will be from 10pm - 8am or 9pm - 7am and will likely include weekends.
- Uses software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose network status and problems; conducts complex network monitoring equipment installation and maintenance activities.
- Resolves complex trouble tickets; help to clean up the Queues when there are large outages/Events/maintenance.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in Ethernet and IP Layer 1 and 2, communications.
- Technical knowledge and experience on contemporary technologies (e.g., MPLS, TDM, Ethernet, eLAN-eLine, TCP/IP, BGP, QoS, IP, etc.).
- Experience resolving trouble tickets. (JIRA, ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
- Associate degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
- Certifications are not required but would be a plus.
*No C2C or 3rd party candidates. Client requires candidates to be a US Citizen or GC Holder working on our W2.
