Form of workWe are seeking a Product Configuration Specialist/ Product Development Engineer with strong experience in Driveworks and SolidWorks for a remote role.
Responsibilities:
Standardizing designs and modeling techniques across the engineering department, leading to improvement quality
Professional experience programming a product configurator using Driveworks and SolidWorks.
Ability to integrate DriveWorks within the ERP system.
Program CPQ solutions using Driveworks
Develop Product Models in Configurator Studio and Design Automation for SolidWorks
Supports and develop the solutions in Driveworks CPQ based on business needs
Supports in projects to develop the commercial aspects (i.e. pricing, proposals, etc.) of an engineer-to-order product into a configure-to-order product
Supports the maintenance and improvement of the commercial aspects (i.e. pricing, proposals, etc.) of a product that has been standardized and implemented in Driveworks CPQ
Requirements:
Strong professional DriveWorks experience
3D CAD tools prefer SolidWorks
Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Power Point & SharePoint)
Familiarity with best practice of business procedures and workflows regarding interaction between sales, engineering and execution teams
Strong written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail
Good teamwork skills, including the ability to coordinate with parties in other countries and time zones.
University degree in Engineering or related technical field from an accredited university
