Position Overview: As an Office Assistant within our health and wellness company, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of daily administrative operations. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support to various departments and personnel, contributing to a productive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks such as handling incoming calls, emails, and mail.
Maintain office supplies inventory, place orders, and ensure adequate stock levels of products. Assist in organizing and scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference rooms.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Prepare and maintain documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed.
Organize and manage physical and digital filing systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of records.
Office Maintenance:
Ensure the office premises are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Coordinate with external vendors for office maintenance, repairs, and equipment servicing.
Reception and Visitor Management:
Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and vendors.
Manage the reception area and provide general administrative support to guests.
Support Various Departments:
Assist different departments with administrative tasks, including data entry, research, and coordination of projects. Collaborate with teams to facilitate smooth interdepartmental communication and workflows.
Compliance and Regulations:
Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations within the office environment. Stay updated on industry regulations and assist in ensuring adherence within the office premises.
Substitute in the Stores:
Serving as a substitute sales associate in Tallulah stores as needed. Being able to quickly help in the stores as needed when we have a late call out.
Requirements:
- Experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Flexibility and a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge or interest in the cannabis industry is a plus.
