Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced individual to fill our Direct Hire Executive Administrative Assistant/Retail Banker position for one of our clients located in Roseville. This position provides administrative and secretarial duties for the President and other executives and supports board and management meetings. This hybrid position also supports the bank's retail area and is responsible for opening new accounts, cross-selling, and explaining a variety of bank services to present and potential customers.
Responsibilities:
- Handle and screen telephone calls, schedule appointments and relieve the executive of administrative detail.
- Assists in the preparation of administrative reports.
- Compose a wide variety of material correspondence that are sensitive and confidential, create reports and memorandums in final form taking initiative to correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation as necessary.
- Takes and prepares minutes for in-bank committee meetings as needed or requested.
- Coordinates Board agenda items, assembles, and distributes monthly board packets.
- Provide an optimum level of customer service by assessing the needs of customers in a sensitive and responsive manner; recognize and pursue opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services including checking, savings, certificates, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA’s), HAS’s, ATM cards, loans, QuikCredit, make referral for investment products to new and existing customers, and assist customers with debit cards, internet banking and balancing issues.
- Maintains vendor service contracts; orchestrates service calls for building repairs, maintenance, inspections, and site visits at all locations.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to speak and express thoughts and ideas in a clear and concise manner in one-on-one conversations and group settings.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills.
- Demonstrate professionalism in working with the public and all levels of management.
- Detail orientated and self-motivated to prioritize and produce excellent work in a timely manner.
- Documented administrative experience in project-oriented functions, preferably in a banking environment.
- Computer proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook and adaptable to various computer programs
- Relevant knowledge and skills generally acquired through an applicable degree or 2-4 years related work experience.
