We are seeking an experienced Product Manager - Technical to join the AWS Event Platforms Team.

Key job responsibilities
As an Event PlatformsProduct Manager - Technical, you will be responsible for owning productization of third-party vendor Event Platforms, performing vendor technical assessments, managing end to end security reviews and owning guidelines for supported and non-supported Event Platforms. You will oversee vendor technical management, own technology escalations and strategize vendor integrations and data flow processes. You will partner with stakeholders to understand technical requirements for event delivery, work with third-party vendor to manage development roadmap and prioritization and ensure the AWS security bar is met, and exceeded.
- Work with AWS Event Platform Vendor Owners to manage external vendor relationships
- Drive the internal productization of third-party vendor event technologies
- Lead initiatives aimed at identifying and eliminating security risks for Amazon and its partner teams
- Own governance and enablement of third-party platforms, as assigned
- Create and own process for security reviews and maintenance to include documentation of security artifacts, status tracking, open finding management, new feature enhancement and roadmap advisement
- Manage the third-party platform's roadmap on behalf of internal stakeholders
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of management, building trust across the organization, and demonstrating discretion with sensitive information

The Event Platform team is focused on creating platform enablement and operations for stakeholders across AWS Global Marketing.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
