The Event Assistant will enjoy hands-on training and the opportunity to fast-track into a senior event role. We have found those with a background in education, sports, and hospitality have been able to accelerate through training and have excelled in a senior role with our firm. This is a great opportunity for someone with a desire to get their foot in the door with a team of socially focused entrepreneurs.
Event Assistant Responsibilities:
- Learn all of the various workings of our charity partners, their focus, and goals in the local community
- Assistant local management with the on-site event logistics and fundraising responsibilities
- Learn all of our company systems, structures, and logistics to streamline the development process
- Learn various marketing strategies and systems to maximize all fundraising opportunities and increase revenue generation for our charity partners
- Qualified associates will assist with compliance management, team management, and training new members of the fundraising team
- Participate in training and development opportunities at our office to accelerate growth opportunities in upper management
- Maintain all on-site compliance standards according to our charity and retail partners
Event Assistant Requirements:
- Experience in customer service, promotional marketing, retail, or sales environment is preferred but not required
- A passion for opportunities to learn in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Extremely comfortable with interacting directly with our clients, retail managers and potential donors
- Ability to travel locally to various event locations
- Must be able to work individually and with a small team
- Self-accountability is a must
This position involves direct sales and customer service, and pay is based on individual performance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $600.00 - $1,000.00 per week
