AddressWe are seeking an energetic and organized part-time employee to support the Chamber's special events efforts. This position is responsible for assisting the Chamber team in planning and coordinating Chamber summer events, including Evenings on River Street, Arts & Crafts Shows, Farmers Market, and Business After Hours.
Event Responsibilities include:
- Assist in all aspects of planning events.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of events.
- Help manage event vendors.
- Assist with vendor registration.
- Transport necessary event items to and from the Chamber to event sites.
Office Responsibilities
- Assist with the operations of the Visitor Center including office management, building cleanup/light maintenance, and tourist assistance (directions, information, maps, etc.)
- Answer phones as needed direct calls, answer questions.
Requirements
- Social media campaign development skills
- This position requires the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
- You must be able to lift heavy, cumbersome objects.
- Event attendance required for Evenings on River Street, Arts & Crafts Shows, Farmer's Market, and Business After Hours.
