Estimator/Project Manager

Responsibilities:
- Manage the estimating process for construction projects from start to finish
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project scope and requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for construction projects
- Analyze and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor project costs and provide cost control measures throughout the construction process
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and specifications
- Provide guidance and support to the estimating team

Skills:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in using Quickbooks
- In-depth knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
- Familiarity with construction management processes and procedures
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to accurately estimate project costs
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimating quantities, materials, and labor costs
- Ability to build relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders in the construction industry
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
