About the Opportunity
The Federal Reserve System transitioned human resources, finance, and procurement technology systems into one integrated cloud-based platform using the Workday and SAP Ariba product solutions. To support this new platform, operational support capabilities are being reorganized to be singularly focused on one goal - to deliver a world-class platform in support of the Federal Reserve's mission. As part of this effort, a new ERP Support Office (ESO) has been created to spearhead technical support of the new solution by establishing an agile team that will embrace change, drive innovation, and rapidly respond to the changing needs of stakeholders.
This role is responsible for providing consultation on analytics needs across the platform and assisting with development of these products for cross-functional data needs. Other tools may also come under this teams' purview, as the platform evolves and matures over time. This role will drive a common, standard approach to data, reporting and analytics and offer consulting to ensure that standards are communicated well and easily adopted. This team will also be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise level data, reporting and analytics for consumption by business lines, System advisory groups, governance bodies and key decision makers.
What You Will Do:
  • Works and collaborates as a part of an Agile team that helps develop and implement capabilities to enable decision making processes and procedures including data, reporting, dashboards, metadata collection processes, metric collection processes, resolve data issues, data governance and data clean up and maintenance, data sharing agreement processes, etc.
  • Design, implement, and manage data warehouses leveraging AWS tools and products.
  • Follow data security best practices and optimize data workflows for performance and cost.
  • Accountable and helps to support processes, i.e., data standards, data sharing agreement templates, etc.
  • Support data architecture team in the development and ongoing maintenance of the platform analytic conceptual and logical data architecture.
  • Mines and performs analysis of data management data across the Ariba and Workday landscape including metadata, DQ results, data issues log, etc.
  • Interprets data, analyzes results using statistical methods - develops and implements data analyses, data collection systems in support of product team priorities.
  • Involved in full lifecycle of data - requirements gathering, analysis, design and define reporting requirements for data products.
  • In partnership with product teams and business lines, develops dashboard requirements that provide insight and transparency into our managed data environment (Ex: Data Availability, Data Quality, Data Landscape, Metadata).
  • Explores opportunities for continued innovation and evolution of data, data analytics and dashboards based on trend analysis.
  • Executes User Acceptance Testing of all data management capabilities implemented.
  • Develops and documents program metrics requirements to communicate value, impact, and outcomes.
  • Collects, organizes, and manipulates large amounts of data using databases and other technologies.
  • Monitors data accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications & Competencies:
  • 10 years or greater of database and data analytic experience.
  • Keen analytical ability and strong knowledge of analysis and modeling.
  • Expertise in both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis techniques that include analyzing trends, benchmarking, and performance monitoring.
  • Expert in data mining and structured & unstructured information analysis.
  • Investigative nature to unearth patterns in data and provide insight into data in a consumable fashion.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, creativity, attention to detail (compliance), and negotiation skills to interpret results, develop communications and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to generate insights from information and present information within all settings in a credible, confident, and influential manner.
  • Competent in information taxonomy creation, information visualization, information modeling, and data warehousing techniques.
  • Ability to synthesize and clearly translate large volumes of complex information into executive level scorecards, dashboards, and reports that easily consumable by senior management.
  • High proficiency and working knowledge of data management, analytic tools and information presentation technologies and tools including Hadoop/Cloudera, Flume, Hive, Alteryx, Tableau, WebFocus, SAS, BOXi, etc.
  • Proficiency in AWS data-related services including S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, Lamda, etc.
  • Proficiency in building ETL processes using tools like Glue, Apache NiFi, or custom scripts.
  • Experience integrating data from various sources into a unified platform.
  • Knowledge in Workday data tools including Adaptive & Prism desirable, but not required.

Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field

  • The hiring range of the Analyst - Bus Intel - Advance is $109,700 - $137,100 annually.
  • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
