Caregility is seeking a contractor to help implement IFS Cloud ERP system. This is a temporary contractor role lasting for approximately 6 months with an average of 40 hours per week. This position will be Remote, but you must reside in the United States. In this role, you will be joining Caregility at a critical juncture as we are in progress with the implementation of our IFS ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system and are approaching decisive milestones around integrations and data migration. With the project already underway, your primary responsibility will be to seamlessly integrate into the existing team and lead the remaining phases of the implementation project. This entails overseeing ongoing tasks, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring that the project progresses smoothly towards its completion. Given the urgency to go live this summer, your leadership will be instrumental in accelerating the pace of implementation while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. Leveraging your expertise in project management and technical leadership, you will build upon the momentum gained thus far to navigate the complexities of the remaining implementation stages effectively. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining project momentum, addressing any challenges that arise, and ultimately delivering a successful ERP solution that aligns with Caregility's strategic objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end implementation projects of IFS ERP solutions, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
- Lead a team of internal and contracted technical professionals, including developers, system administrators, and integration specialists, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, resolving complex technical issues as they arise during project implementation.
- Collaborate with business subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for IFS ERP customization and integration.
- Assist in the design of technical solutions and configurations to meet business needs while maximizing the capabilities of the IFS ERP platform.
- Manage system integrations with other enterprise applications, such as ADP, Salesforce, Avalara, Smartsheet, and Service Now.
- Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms with vendors to optimize value for the organization.
- Develop and implement test plans and procedures to validate the functionality, performance, and security of IFS ERP solutions.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) activities and ensure issues are identified, documented, and resolved promptly.
- Facilitate training sessions for end-users and administrators to ensure proper utilization of IFS ERP features and functionalities.
- Implement change management strategies to minimize resistance and maximize user adoption of new processes and systems.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, with specific expertise in IFS ERP modules, architecture, and customization capabilities.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#) and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) Preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are desirable.
- Experience in agile methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Jira and Smartsheet is a plus.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Proven experience (6 years) in ERP project management and technical leadership roles, preferably in implementing and managing IFS ERP solutions.
