Summary:
The Company is a leading consumer goods designer and producer of home décor products sold through major retailers and ecommerce. We’re looking for an energetic problem solver to join our fun team that’s focused on better understanding our business and related data as well as leveraging technology to work more efficiently. Onsite is required with some flexibility, but any applicant must be willing to primarily work onsite at our Brookfield, WI office.
The System Admin & EDI Analyst will maintain setups and configurations with our ERP system as well as all electronic communications in/out of our ERP system.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Lead IT aspects of design/configuration/implementation of Oracle NetSuite ERP system as we migrate off of our AS400 legacy system.
· Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for the NetSuite ERP system.
· Work with our IBM EDI partner to design and implement EDI communications in/out of NetSuite.
· Establish automated systems and processes to proactively monitor all electronic communications in/out of NetSuite to ensure completeness and accuracy of data sent/received and drive timely resolution of all issues that arise.
· Develop a functional understanding of Microsoft Access databases that contain legacy ERP system data to facilitate and develop reporting that spans both our legacy ERP system and NetSuite.
· Develop and maintain documentation and standards.
· Create ad hoc management reporting working closely with internal and external customers as well as business partners.
· Test and evaluate new product features and releases from software suppliers and manage related upgrades.
· Interface with software vendors for any application bug resolution or application maintenance issues.
· Develop and maintain workflows in NetSuite.
· Perform periodic data uploads into ERP system – pricing, costing, etc.
· Able to assist managed service provider with occasional end-user or on-site infrastructure issue resolution
· Participates effectively as a team player in all aspects of American Tack & Hardware’s business.
· Communicates effectively with internal customers and external business partners.
· Proactively anticipates issues and makes recommendations.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft SQL, and Access.
· Proficient in EDI mapping, setups, monitoring, and support.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to gather, organize, and interpret statistical data from the database to provide reports to and answer questions from leadership.
Desired:
· Experience with ERP and EDI system implementations (Oracle NetSuite).
· Proficient in Microsoft Power BI.
· Proficient in SFTP and SOAP Web Services.
· General understanding of business functions outside of IT – especially Accounting/Finance, Inventory, and Order Management.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience required.
· At least three years in Data Processing, and at least two years of experience with database management systems; OR two years as a development programmer.
