Job Description Summary

The Equity Compensation Analyst is part of the executive compensation team and responsible for the efficient administration of the Equity Compensation programs including all Equity Compensation, non-qualified deferred compensation/executive benefit programs and the employee stock purchase plan. In this role, you will perform day to day operations, testing and reporting with a strong focus on identifying and managing risk. You will be responsible to implement best practices across the programs and work cross functionally with HR, Technology, Accounting, Finance, Legal, third-party vendors and others to ensure the seamless execution of the programs.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of equity plan administration by maintaining and reconciling equity program data with the stock plan administrator, uploading equity grants, running reports, and answering stock plan related inquiries from employees and GE Healthcare’s finance, accounting, legal and audit teams.

  • Manage RSU/PSU vesting and stock option exercise reporting, coordinating with local payroll and accounting teams to ensure proper taxation, reporting and expensing.

  • Manage the equity income and tax apportionment program for globally mobile employees.

  • Liaise with GE Healthcare’s legal and finance teams and external tax advisors with respect to regulatory filings and global tax and share plan compliance issues.

  • Work with GE Healthcare’s legal team and outside advisory firms to review potential equity plan amendments requiring Compensation Committee and/or shareholder approval.

  • Work with compliance team on annual SOX control testing.

  • Work with internal technology team and stock plan administrator on system update and process automation.

  • Monitor trends, best practices and regulatory developments impacting equity plans and keep senior management informed as necessary.

  • Partner with various stakeholders to design compensation related communication materials for various programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in an analytical position.

  • Minimum of 3+ years in an Equity Compensation and/or equity administration role.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong working knowledge of Equity Compensation market practices and evolving regulatory requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of common types of annual and long-term incentive vehicles, stock accounting requirements, and SEC disclosures

  • Exposure to international compensation including an appreciation for the complexity of managing a global population

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to develop models to assess financial impact

  • Good communication and organizational skills with the ability to juggle projects and meet deadlines.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $99,840.00-$149,760.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
