We are seeking an equally passionate Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with other HR leaders in providing recruitment and Talent Acquisition support for all existing and future locations/territories. This role will be responsible for supervising and mentoring the Talent Acquisition Team. The ideal candidate will be business-driven, 'people-centric' with a high sense of customer service willing to contribute and drive a strong culture of employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and retention. In addition, to guarantee success in this position, the ideal candidate should exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of Talent Acquisition and general HR functions. As we are in a fast-paced environment, the top candidate should be comfortable managing complex areas, be effective at managing the recruitment process, and have a strategic approach to building relationships within the communities we serve and partnering with organizations and institutions to attract the best talent.

This role will be hybrid based out of Houston (2 days per week in office, 3 days remote). Some domestic travel required.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization
  • Partner with Senior and Mid-level leaders to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives
  • Oversee full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units
  • Supervise and mentor staff within the Talent Acquisition team
  • Create and implement Employment Marketing Strategies to attract passive job seekers
  • Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria
  • Ensure all Talent Acquisition Specialists and Hiring Managers are up to date on training for interview and candidate selection protocols in compliance with federal, state, and local legislation
  • Maximize the use of pre-employment assessment tools as it relates to each position type
  • Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring manager, business leaders and human resources team
  • Actively recruit for high-level and priority roles, as needed
  • Work closely with hiring managers to maximize effectiveness of the overall recruiting process
  • Work closely with the HR team to ensure that the onboarding process runs smoothly between the Applicant Tracking System and other HR systems.
  • Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity
  • Regular follow up with Talent Acquisition team members, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process
  • Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects
  • Develop and implement search strategy that includes vendor selection process and performance metrics for all searches
  • Oversee maintenance of the PosiGen career's website and within Applicant Tracking System
  • Responsible for organizing and attending off-site recruitment activities and building internal and external relationships to attract and retain top talent
  • Ensure offer letters and hiring documents are current and compliant with the latest local, state, and federal regulations
  • Primary point of contact with contracted third-party recruitment agencies
  • Other HR related duties as assigned by supervisor

Education/Experience

  • BA/BS Degree in Human Resources, Business or Organizational Development or demonstrated experience in a similar business environment required
  • Minimum of 5 years of Staffing/Recruitment experience, strong understanding, and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff
  • Proven experience leading a complex Talent Acquisition organization
  • Must have experience with candidate sourcing, strong vendor management skills such as search firms and job boards, and experience with ATS
  • Clear understanding of the end to end recruitment lifecycle processes
  • Excellent ability to generate HR metrics and analyze data
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws
  • Efficient HR administration and people management skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace preferred
