Overview /Objective
The Camera Prep Technician will work with all our Field Acquisition staff. They have the ability to prep and ship all Camera, Sound and Enhanced Audio equipment to locations for all production shoots and football games. When that equipment is returned; making sure that the equipment is scanned back, checked out, and ready for use again.
Responsibilities:
- Working with Cinematographers; Sound and Enhanced Sound Operators both in person and remotely to assemble a gear list for any upcoming shoots and games
- Pack and ship all gear ahead for crews of upcoming shoots and games
- Track all shipments to ensure they arrive on time
- Regularly check the shoot and game schedule systems for any changes/additions to shoots and games
- Monitor equipment inventory and track down any missing equipment
- Organize the Field Acquisition Departments to make sure all equipment is in a place to be easily found when needed
Required Qualifications
- 1-5 years of Production Experience
Required Education:
- College Degree preferred.
- Experience with Cinema Equipment preferred.
Other Key Attributes / Characteristics
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Pivot on the fly.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Willingness to work an irregular schedule and/or weekends.
- Minimum of 40 hours per week

- Will be asked to lift and move some Camera Equipment repeatedly.
