Job Description
The position will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and is initially funded through 6/30/2024 with potential renewal.
Pay Rate-
$43.24/hr working 40 hours a week

Shifts: Hybrid with required 1 Day a Week in Office
40-hour work week with a Hybrid Schedule: Monday and Tuesday in office. W-F Telework
Job duties:
- Assist with development of key informant interview guide
- Assist with summarizing findings from key informant interviews
- Conduct background research on relevant population and performance metrics developed by LA County Departments and related initiatives
- Identify and produce specifications for potential new and existing population and performance metrics in support of countywide prevention and promotion initiative.
- Assist with development of prevention and promotion initiative evaluation design and scope of work based on findings from key informant interviews
- Assist with completion of initial deliverable in the evaluation scope of work
- Attend in-person and on-line meetings as needed in relation to the evaluation
Minimum Qualifications:
- A masters degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in epidemiology or its equivalent and three years of experience assisting in the design, conduct, and evaluation of epidemiologic studies and field investigations -OR- A doctoral degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in epidemiology or its equivalent -AND- one-year work experience as an epidemiologist
- A valid Class C California Driver’s License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
