The role you'll contribute:
The EPIC Manager of Principal Trainers and Curriculum has direct responsibility for the Principal Trainers and Curriculum for end user training across the Revenue Cycle, Ambulatory and Clinical platforms. The role works with the training managers, application coordinators and application managers to develop and maintain the training programs. The role manages policy communication, curriculum integrity and learning methods. It is responsible for interacting with specialty champions, change managers, and site representatives.

  • Supervision of all training roles essential to the project success.
  • Ensuring EPIC Go Live resource support and readiness of workforce.
  • Developing role - based training content, independently or with team members, using a variety of software programs, tools, and applications
  • Designing, developing and maintaining EPIC instructional materials
  • Managing and maintaining policy and procedure documentation
  • Incorporating feedback from others into existing training and training administration procedures
  • Incorporate new content and consulting with subject matter experts to develop training materials
  • Assisting with building and testing of training environments, and providing support and troubleshooting issues
  • Collaborating with other trainers by co - facilitating classroom instruction and assisting with exercises.
  • Ensuring lessons, printed material and classroom are set to facilitate training.
  • Presenting information verbally and in writing in a clear and easy - to - understand manner
  • Serving as an expert educator to internal staff
  • Training and credentialing additional classroom trainers as needed
  • Training staff and end users by teaching technical topics as needed
  • Managing projects by prioritizing projects and by creating and adhering to timelines
  • Focus and manage individual performance by helping others set performance goals, and then tracking results and evaluating performance effectiveness
  • Assist with the development of strategic plans to achieve long-range goals committing to a course of action to accomplish including available resources, recognizing constraints and organizational values.
  • Provide 24 hour on call support as needed
  • Adapts to end user adoption risks

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Prior Training expertise on large projects with adoptive techniques
  • Prior supervision of trainers of curriculum delivery
  • Knowledge of adult learning principal
  • Current licensure in area of assignment (Clinical)
  • 3+ years' experience with clinical/technical system application implementation
  • 3+ years training experience in a healthcare IT environment required
