We're seeking an entry-level Tier 1 Support Engineer to join our Aegis Premier Technologies division. As a Tier 1 Support Engineer at Aegis, you'll play a pivotal role as the go-to expert for those seeking assistance, training, and information about Aegis and its innovative suite of products and services. Your mission is to deliver knowledgeable and prompt responses to queries to ensure a seamless customer experience. We are looking for someone who can grasp the intricacies of our products and relay that understanding effectively to our clients.
This full-time, salaried position is a remote role open to candidates in the US who are eligible to work without current or future sponsorship. The salary range is $45,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on skills and expertise.
What you'll do:
- Respond to issues and requests with excellent customer service skills.
- Conduct in-depth research, and meticulously test and resolve issues,
- Escalate advanced issues, ensuring timely client communication upon resolution.
- Offer accurate and thorough answers to product-related questions.
- Translate technical information into layman's terms for non-technical recipients.
- Explain data relationships and database structure in easily understandable terms.
- Support company teams in drafting system documentation and articles.
- Provide status updates for ongoing issues and those escalated to other departments.
- Communicate effectively with team members, data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders.

- A high school diploma.
- 2+ years of experience in a client-facing technical support role.
- Proficiency in SQL query and database structure.
