Job Description:
We are seeking a Tax Analyst with 0-2 years of experience. The candidate will have opportunities to learn the retail automotive industry and tax laws applying to domestic, foreign, and cross-border transactions. The candidate will join an experienced tax team who will help the candidate develop his/her tax career. The tax department currently uses multiple software products to compile data for compliance and reporting, allowing the candidate to spend more time with data analyses.
We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, self-motivated with the willingness to learn a variety of tax technical areas. The candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, strong teamwork skills, strong work ethic, high professionalism, and effective oral and written communication skills. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. A CPA certification is preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:*
- Prepare corporate federal and state income tax returns
- Prepare quarterly and annual corporate tax provisions
- Compile and analyze data for tax calculations
- Assist in management of tax reporting systems (e.g., fixed asset and unclaimed property)
- Assist in management of property tax processes
- Perform tax research
- Perform special projects (general tax planning, M&A activity)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA certification is preferred but not required
- 0-2 years Tax Analyst experience
- Detail oriented, self-motivated with the willingness to learn
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork skills, strong work ethic, and high professionalism
- Effective oral and written communication skills
