Position Summary
Become an integral part of a dynamic team within a collaborative, future forward environment supporting the world’s largest online marketplace. Our team oversees all aspects of eBay’s Transfer Pricing functions – including planning, controversy, operational and compliance matters. Major Responsibilities:
Work on Transfer Pricing projects from start to finish such as:
- Prepare Transfer Pricing documentation for eBay’s businesses.
- Assist with functional interviews, compilation of tested party data and related tasks as part of the team preparing Transfer Pricing documentation reports.
- Use of MS Word, Excel, Access, and other tools to prepare and analyze financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance.
- Support IRS and foreign tax audits on Transfer Pricing matters by providing IDR responses and developing potential settlement analysis.
- Collaborate with teams in tax, finance and accounting, financial reporting, and the business to ensure effective Operational TP.
Job Requirements:
- Committed to our Hybrid Work Model with 3 days per week in either our San Jose or Austin office.
- A minimum of two years of experience with tax or Transfer Pricing related projects in either an advisory or corporate setting.
- Bachelor's degree in economics, business, finance, mathematics, or statistics from an accredited college/university.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An ability to work effectively in a team environment and make a positive contribution toward the overall success of the team.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Transfer pricing, U.S. and/or non U.S. corporate taxation, Financial statement analysis, Statistical sampling and econometrics, or Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Prior experience working with SAP and Alteryx a major plus.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
$88,000 - $137,500Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
