The Job You Will Perform:
- Following all safety rules and practices;
- Reading factory work orders, print cards, and other documents to learn customer requirements.
- Identifying stock and products that correspond to work orders;
- Performing assigned duties to insure that production needs are met;
- Assisting other associates as needed;
- Accurately using tape measures and other measurement and test equipment;
- Inspecting, counting, stacking, and unitizing products according to customer specifications.
- Identifying and segregating nonconforming (reject) products and materials;
- Accurately completing time sheets, reports, lists, and other records;
- Keeping the supervisor informed of any problems and/or unusual situations;
- Maintaining work areas to plant standards of housekeeping;
- Maintaining teamwork with machine crews and other associates; and
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervision.
NOTE: Utility labor is the full-time Entry Level position for new manufacturing associates.

- The ability to perform the duties / responsibilities of the job with or without accommodation
- The ability to read, write, and speak English
- The ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler
- The ability to use basic shop math
- The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
