The Total Rewards and Performance Management Specialist plays an integral role in our Human Resources team through administering our innovative and competitive compensation structure, incentive payroll process, and critical people data management to purposefully reinforce Keyence's Pay for Performance Philosophy. Responsibilities and Duties
- Must be able to work in an office setting for a minimum of 40 hours, while sitting down.
- Must be able to operate office equipment i.e. computers, phones, printer/scanner.
- May perform light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
- Must be able to concentrate and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Travel: 0-5%, based on business needs
Effectively administer our pay programs, particularly Keyence's strategic salary and variable pay initiatives, and Performance Management processes.
Accurately manage transactional aspects of HR such as incentive payroll administration, legal/compliance documentation, ad-hoc reporting, maintenance of internal systems and organizational infrastructure change administration (e.g., new hire, separation, promotion, transfers, restructuring, etc.).
Ensure efficacy of Performance Management, compensation and HRIS structure and operations relevant processes while remaining in compliance with federal, state, and local government regulations, tax policies, and laws.
Analyze market trends in compensation and Performance Management best practice to maximize compensation competitiveness, employee engagement, as well as internal equity.
Identify and promote strategic and impactful changes across various business and HR functions to aid in eliminating business risk and innovating our organization.
Interface and build strong business partnership with internal departments, senior management, and external vendors.
Collaborate with other, Human Resources team members on a daily basis to sustain and improve optimal HR operation including, but not limited to; on-boarding, Performance Management, talent development, employee relations, compensation, & HRIS.
Facilitates and manages multiple cross functional projects while fulfilling day-to-day responsibilities.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education Level: bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline
Experience: 5 - 3 years general Human Resources, HRIS, Compensation, and/or Performance Management or similar related experience
Sustained ability to manage stress and maintain clear focus with handling large volume of data management and analysis demands of the role.
Ability to execute and effectively manage multiple tasks and projects at once, prioritize accordingly, remain organized, and maintain strong attention to detail.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify underlying principles and objectives behind current processes and policies and continuously improve them.
Ability to accurately and thoroughly document, record, and maintain information and data integrity - the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Situational agility and ability to build structure around ambiguity.
Aptitude to establish and sustain effective interpersonal relationships and partnership with employees and management through adaptive communication skills.
Strong systems and analytical skills (Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Macro creation).
Knowledge on current employment laws and regulations
Preferred Skills/Technical Skills
Preferred experience with ADP Work Force Now Payroll and Success Factors Employee Central or similar HRIS 1-3 years of general Human Resources, HRIS, Compensation, and/or Performance Management experience
Proven experience in optimizing HR daily operations within rapid pace of Company growth
Microsoft Access and Power Query, SQL, and R proficiency a plus
