Position Details
As an Engineering Intern, you'll performs entry level technical engineering work in office and field settings. There are three (3) internship positions available with the following job focus: Construction Inspection, Surveying & Stormwater/Erosion Control Management.
Our Engineering Department is a team of talented individuals who work to keep our city running smoothly and efficiently in order to make our community a truly desirable place to live and work.
This role is non-exempt and has a starting salary of $17.40-$19.01 DOQ.

- Knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and construction inspections.
What you'll bring to help you be successful
- Must have a High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum of one (1) year vocational or college course work in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Environmental Engineering, Land Surveying, Construction Management or directly related field of study.
- Candidates should have at least one (1) semester of education remaining in degree/certificate program following the completion of the internship.
- Must have a driver's license or the ability to obtain.
