Embroidery/Screen Print Specialist

This position supports the work of Stitch Please Embroidery, committed to strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

• Understanding of basic design skills and various file types to support production in the areas of screen printing, embroidery, vinyl work, and other profit-generating items.
• Maintain a safe, friendly, cause-driven environment that promotes the core values of the staff.
• Be knowledgeable and kept up to date with subsidiary product information in such a way that timely and accurately answers customer's inquiries.
• Ensure that communication is clear, effective, and efficient.
• Always exhibit positive character, such as friendliness and courtesy.
• Whatever else may be needed to further the Stitch Please movement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with clients in service and/or product delivery-related field.
• Be passionate about the mission and vision and must personally advocate and demonstrate the core values of honesty, respect, responsibility, and caring.
• Demonstrate solid leadership as demonstrated by a high level of loyalty and respect among employees, peers, and volunteers.
• Implement strong communication skills that put customers at ease and generate longevity as a customer.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills in managing time and projects.
• Graphic design experience preferred, along with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop. On-the-job training available.
• Have a valid driver's license.
