The Electronics Intern assists Electronics Technicians as they repair and assemble electronic components. The Intern should be a current student pursuing a degree in Electronics or a related field. This job description indicates the general nature and level of the work that is expected. It is not designed to contain a comprehensive or all-inclusive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities. Other duties may be required.
· General through hole and surface mount soldering to remove and install electronic devices
· Circuit board setup and testing
· Building and wiring electronic assemblies
· Take pictures of repairs and call out the replaced components
· Read and store firmware onto the file server
· Other shop duties as required
