Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will complete general preventive maintenance duties including repair work, equipment inspections and troubleshooting. Individual will perform skilled work to install, maintain, operate, repair and replace a variety of electrical and electronic systems and fixtures within Kent County Sheriff Department facilities.
Upon successful completion of a six month probationary period, pay will increase to $31.75.
Minimum Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent and completion of a recognized apprenticeship or certificate program or possession of an Associate's degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical or maintenance technology; or completion of an Armed Forces electrical or electronics training program; plus three years experience at the journey level in the trade.

1 1/2 times regular straight-time rate for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week

$315 per credit hour; maximum of 9 credit hours per year (see policy for eligibility)
