```Overview```
We are seeking experienced Electronics Technicians to join our team. As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in computer hardware, Radio background, and mechanical knowledge. Perform installation, tests, maintenance/repair of various types of relays and electronic equipment/electrical instruments to transmission and distribuiton systems. ```Essential Functions```
- Analyze, test, repair/release fo service powerline carrier equipment/wave traps, Uniterruptible Power Supply systems, capacitor bank, regulator, recloser and sectionalizer controls, all relays and their associated controls.
- Analyze/verify control circuit/potential wiring to relay elements; make corrections/additions to relaying schemes.
- Perform integrity checks on solid state, micro processor controlled and electromechanical relays, communication systems and electronic distribution controls.
- Troubleshoot voltage complaints; meet with company representatives in order to coordinate installation of new equipment and maintenance of existing equipment.
- Test/maintain control circuits on oil circuit breakers; calibrate electric indicating instruments.
- Perform routine maintenance on electronic systems
- design/fabricate special circuits/devices.
- Collaborate with other technicians to solve complex problems
- Clean, maintain/inspect recording instruments and oscillograph equipment.
- Run load/voltage checks and record results.
- Perform switching on regulators, reclosers, sectionalizers, and substation equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of adjustments, repairs/modifications, and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all safety rules/practices.
```Experience```
- Proven experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and low voltage systems
- Radio Background a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools effectively
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- Experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of computer networking is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Associate degree in Electrical, Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering Technology.
