Responsibilities:
- Fabricate electronic test equipment panels, breakout test boxes, low voltage and high voltage wire harnesses from engineering drawings. Fabricate special test equipment electronic test boxes and build harnesses
- Perform electronic modifications such as component rework, soldering/ de-soldering of electronic components, etc.
- Help troubleshoot test equipment and wiring issues
- Able to use basic hand tools, Power tools, drilling, and standard test equipment (DMM).
- Understand how to read electrical schematics and use manufacturers' product data sheets.
- Use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Performs occasional moderate lifting
- Good house keeping practices
- Technical degree in electronics preferred
- 2+ years of electronics Fabrication experience
- 2+ years of experience with soldering, handling lab equipment.
- Experience fabricating special test equipment such as test boxes and test harnesses.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Familiar with prototype and fabrication shop processes.
- Willing to work flexible hours and passionate about getting jobs done.
- High voltage experience
