Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Leads assigned interface implementation project
2. Provides troubleshooting and issue resolution for existing interfaces which includes on-call support outside of regular working hours.
3. Mentors and supports McLaren IT, and partner firm associates in daily tasks and troubleshooting providing technical support as needed.
4. Monitors assigned interface project progress to assess and manage project risk and provides quality assurance while designing interfaces which align to project scope.
5. Takes part in all aspects of solution development including requirements gathering, feature design, implementation and deployment
6. Develop interface specifications, including maintenance of support documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in an information technology or healthcare field. (Equivalency is Associate degree plus 5 years of experience working in either healthcare or as an IT analyst)
• At least five years of experience in each of the following:
- Healthcare industry IT
- HL7, X12, FHIR, CCD, CCR or comparable data format standards
- Structural programming languages (i.e. Perl, SQL, TCL, CCL, JavaScript, etc.)
- Standard interface protocols including tcp/ip, FTP, sFTP, http
- Developing and supporting interfaces using a commercial interface engine application such as Cloverleaf, CorePoint, Rhapsody or Mirth
- Developing and supporting interfaces within the Cerner Millennium application using Open Engine, CCL and other FSI tools
- Linux command line work experience
Preferred:
• Master's degree in an information technology field
• Cloverleaf level II certification
• Experience using Automate interface engine for file transfer interface
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS)
