Medical Records Clerk

Medical Records Clerk needed for busy Family Practice Office. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Completes scanning and data entry of medical information
• Health Information Management
• Prepares and sends Medical Records as requested.
• Is proficient in pulling medical record data from outside organizational portals.
• Manages and distributes faxes and other incoming health information.
• Follows confidentiality procedures.
• Assists clinical team with obtaining Medical Records.
• Provide excellent customer service, cultural sensitivity, and confidentiality.
• Follows appropriate telephone protocol for patients and employees.
• Initiates, update and maintain electronic medical record.
• Works Electronic Medical Record (EMR) tasks on a daily basis. Our system is eClinical Works.

Ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have the ability to work independently and have knowledge of basic electronic medical record functions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
