JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/objective: Support the Health Information Department through patient document processing in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Medical Record Releases. This is a hybrid position with the expectation of some in-office workdays.
Essential functions
- Scanning and uploading patient documents in the EMR, properly labeling, and filing
- Work in OnBase to index clinical and administrative documents.
- Process medical record releases in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy rules.
- Scan and index historical medial records.
- Cross-train to perform monthly exclusion list audit on all current employees, document and attest to findings.
- Assist Supervisor with relevant tasks and special projects that arise

Required education and experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred education and experience
- Experience with EPIC EMR, Teams, and Outlook.
- Experience working with Health Information and/or Compliance.
- Interest in Health Care or non-profits
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.30 - $20.50 per hour
