**Remote** - The EMR Data Senior Analyst will focus on custom data extraction, reports and enhancements to support McLaren's EMR applications across all McLaren's subsidiaries. The EMR Data Senior Analyst provides expertise to guide MHC and vendor staff in implementing and maintaining custom code used across McLaren subsidiaries. Also, establishes and enforces processes for resolving solution deficiencies and enhancing solution capability.

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a information technology field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (Equivalency is Associate degree plus 5 years of experience working in either healthcare or as an IT analyst)
• 5 years (10 years without Bachelor's degree) information systems support experience in Cerner solution
• 3 years (6 years without Bachelor's degree) of IT programming experience working with CCL, or equivalent SQL programming languages.
• 3 years database work experience with Cerner Millennium
• 2-years of Data Transformation work experience
• Ability to travel to offices in all McLaren Regions. Travel will be kept to a minimum, unless additional resources are needed.
Preferred:
• Master's degree in a information technology field.
• Certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS)

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Takes part in all aspects of solution development including gathering requirements, , feature design, implementation and deployment.
- Monitors the resolution of maintenance or enhancement issues assigned.
- Provides technical support to McLaren entities as needed. Interfaces with the user community regarding application design and support. Shares experience and expertise by collaborating with other members of the team.
- Meets regularly with users, IS staff and McLaren IT partners to develop/modify system specifications, including upkeep of documentation.
- Design, develop and implement custom clinical and revenue cycle system enhancements to meet user needs in accordance with McLaren Project Development standards and specific project requirements.
- Adheres to structured programming, analysis, and design techniques.
