About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated C5ISR Systems Engineer to join our Cyber and Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) team. This role involves supporting C5ISR architecture, technology evaluation, testing, and compliance within the US market, contributing to the delivery of cutting-edge products and services to Ground Combat Platforms. The position allows for a hybrid or onsite work arrangement, though on-site presence may be required up to 90% of the time.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage system requirements and interface allocations for C4I/EW systems, ensuring compliance across the design team.
- Oversee subsystem-level hardware and software functional design and interfaces.
- Create and document verification plans and procedures.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and problem resolution for production, development, or modification projects.
- Evaluate and integrate military Radio, RF, GPS, and other electronics both in laboratory settings and on combat vehicles.
- Assess new Cyber and C5ISR technologies for potential product integration.
- Generate project status reports for management.
- Assist in proposal development and project technical planning.
- Perform additional duties and functions as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related discipline (IT, Communications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc.).
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
- Experience in military vehicle development and integration preferred.
- Familiarity with military or commercial radios, GPS, EW, and communication equipment.
- Ability to interpret higher-level customer requirements and translate them into technology areas.
- Knowledge of electronic hardware development and troubleshooting, embedded systems, automotive, and military-related fields.
- Proficiency with laboratory and test/analysis equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
Additional Information:
- Eligibility to obtain a US security clearance is required (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible).
- Ability to climb on/off and work around military vehicles is desired.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Ability to introduce continuous improvement processes and methodologies.
- Limited travel may be required, including foreign travel if needed (up to 15%).
- US Citizenship is mandatory due to US Government Contract requirements.
